How extremely relieved and happy I am. Today is my 5 year remission mark. That means as of today I am now considered cured.
I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma when my youngest son was 6 months old. I had a trying time going through chemo and everything while still being a SAHM to my 3 boys. But I made it. And now, 5 years later, I'M CURED!!!!!

congratulations! Your post brought tears to my eyes. Since Jan 2010 I have lost both my uncle and his mom, my grandmother, to non-hodgkins lymphoma ... Today I hosted a party she would love to have attended (she passed in June) and so I am wearing a necklace of hers to commemorate her... So she is on my mind today.
I am so very happy to hear of someone who has fought and won the battle against blood cancers!!
