I have a little girl. She was born at 34 weeks 2 days. No one knows why she came early--my water broke very unexpectedly. We spent 23 days in the NICU. She weighed 4lbs 10oz at birth and she weighed 5lbs 4oz when she came home. She is doing amazingly well. She's about 14lbs, 26 inches now--she's 5 months. -
My son was born at 28 weeks 6 days. He was 1 lb. 14 oz. at birth and he was in the NICU for 88 days and he was 4 lbs. 14 oz. when he was released. He's now 4 years old and although small he's perfectly healthy and very smart! -
boy 31wks 5days 3lbs 9oz they gave me the seriod shot but he came so fast just 3hrs after the shot was given nicu stay was from the day he was born til 3days from his due date idk the exact amount of days i really didnt wanna count the days plus hes almost 5yrs old now -
wow forgot about my dd she was born at 34 weeks no nicu stay just 11 days in the nursery shes 18 months and 20lbs hoping im not here too much longer

My son was born at exactly 34 weeks. He was 5lbs. even. He spent the first 3 days in NICU and the next 11 after that in what they call the Continuing Care Nursery, which is essentially just like NICU as far as the monitoring and treatment that he was receiving but they put infants that they know will be transitioning to go home in there. The other upside of the CCN was that, unlike the NICU, there was a sofa bed in the room and I was allowed to stay there with him. I know that, compared to others, it was a short stay but it sure didn't feel that way while we were there. Anyway, he's 14 months now, weighs around 26lbs. and is about 32 inches long. He's perfectly healthy and a bit more active than I'd like!

Little boy, born at 33 weeks 6 days. Steroids yes. Those shots made me so sick! He weighed 2 lbs. 5 oz. at delivery and was 13 inches long. We spent 57 days in the NICU. Just over 4 lbs. when we got out. -
I had a girl at 30 weeks. I had one shot of steroids. Our nicu stay was 33 days long. She weighed 3# 11oz at birth, she's now 3yo and weighs about 25#. She is tiny but very healthy -
