Handmade Holidays...
My kids are pretty much grown, so we did something different this year. We had an Easter Egg Decorating Contest....a little more grown-up than our usual egg dying. I spread a table with craft supplies a week ago, and just said be created, my boys are 19, 21 & 28, and we included girlfriends, and a couple of their buddies as well....even my son and his girlfriend in Baltimore participated!! (We are in Los Angeles)
I was thrilled with the results, and posted them on facebook and at my blog for voting. I'm posting pictures of 1st place and 2nd place here, but you can see all of the eggs by clicking on the link to my blog:

Thank you!! We had so much fun doing this, and after posting the pictures on my facebook page I have friends and family asking to join us next year, so I guess it will be a pre-Easter party!!
