Autism Resources
My autistic son is almost 8 and is still wearing pull-ups. A while ago a friend mentioned that she had seen on CafeMom a posting about a musical device called TinkleToonz, where you would insert the device into a slit in the inside of a diaper/pull up, and when the child wees you would be alerted and would instantly have them sit on the potty.
I am considering purchasing one of these, and was wondering whether any other parents had tried this with/or without success.
Thanks

I never heard of this specific device, but know there are alarms. My son is 12 and wearing goodnites and not toilet trained.
I just got a book on amazon last week - The Potty Journey - Guide to toilet training children with special needs, including autism and related disorders.
I also have the other toilet training books for autism. I have not done much yet, my son does not have solid bowel movements, drinks lots of rice and soymilk.
I did a google search and found some links

I am saving these to go through later. I know two of the people online whose articles I included.
