Fifteen minutes of every hour sounds excessive to me. Your thoughts?

That is what my OOH midwife did while I was in labor. -
It feels a little excessive too. 15 mins every 2 hours wouldn't be so bad.

That's the time frame I had.
I had to sign a consent form stating that I had been informed of the "risks" of fetal monitoring, including fetal death(!). I SHOULD have stipulated what I agreed to, but it turned into 15 minutes every hour.
