My son just had his first birthday a couple of weeks ago and STILL has not gotten his first tooth. Is this any cause for concern? When did your babies get their first teeth?

November 13, 2012 at 7:03 PMI don't think it's cause to worry but then again I'm not an expert. DS got his first tooth at 6 months. He is currently cutting tooth #6 and teething so hard. Poor guy. A friend of ours son is going to be 1 next week and he still doesn't have teeth. It will happen:-)

by the time my son was 12 months he had a ton of teeth. he would get like 3 at a time. it was terrible.

I wouldn't be concerned about that, I'm sure they will all come in at once. Which might be nicer that way.

I think it was 9 months or later.
As far as I know it's not a reason to be concerned yet.

Don't worry! While my daughter surprised me at 4 months with her first tooth, my niece didn't get hers until she was 13 or 14 months. :)
November 14, 2012 at 4:20 PMNo need for alarm. It's slower then typical but not a big deal

I have friends whose kids didnt get teeth til 18 months. all kids vary mine get it early and since my mom was born with one, 4 months is not so early lol
by larissalarieNovember 14, 2012 at 4:38 PMNo need to worry, they'll come through eventually. Once of my nieces took forever, but at 4.5 she's got a mouth full of teeth.

My oldest got his first at 10 months and my youngest is just shy of 10 months and no sign of getting any teeth anytime soon.
