I'd like to go some day! Seems like it would be a nice, quiet break.

Yes. The most wonderful specifically art museum that I've ever been to might be the Getty Center in California, though the Getty Villa is also magnificent. The architecture and the gardens alone are just stunning! The Smithsonian was really something too. Even our own small, local museums are neat.

We have the NC museum of art here and I do enjoy going but it's been a while. I need to get my butt over there!! lol

I used to go to a few in minneapolis for classes, and I enjoyed them. They were so peaceful, and some of the work on display was amazing.

I totally know what you mean..I always oh I need to go there, but then time just passes too quick!
