I have a three year old son who is beginning to want to pick out his clothe and dress himself. I let him if we are staying around the house, but he is so mix matched. I'm not ready for the public to see him. lol.

Lol that's funny. My daughter is only 18 months, but sometimes I will let her pick a pair of pants or a top and then I'll get the piece(s) that match it. She likes to put her pants on by herself sometimes but hasn't figured out how to get her shirt on by herself yet.

My dd is two so i usually give her two options and let her choose -
I didn't used to but it's not a battle worth fighting. For the most part, as long as it's weather appropriate, they can choose their own clothes. -

I usually just give my dd options and thn she dresses herself.

Every now and then my 3yo will express an interest but he usually just doesn't care.

My son is about to turn 5 and he's been dressing himself since he turned 3. He's pretty good at it.. he's needed help a few times though. ;)

Not quite yet at 28 months. I pick two shirts and he gets to pick which one he wants out of those. -
I let my dd start at a pretty young age. You just have to trick them in to thinking they are doing all of the picking. (I learned this from an older mom when dd was little). Pick out several tops & bottoms that could be mixed & matched. Then you let them choose what to wear.
