I think it would depend on the ages as to whether or not to spend tons on gloves. For my ten and sixteen year old, I would. For my five year old, no. Maybe for my two year old.

I grew up in the North, but I'll never move back, and never visit there in the winter. It's 60 here right now and I'm freezing. lol
