I uaed to live in va 7yrs ago but im pretty sure this hasnt changed as. they have always done it
batanical(sp) gardens in norfolk va always have a drive threw wonderland of lights
and virginia beach va usually did the drive threw on the boardwalk sometimes did get moved to another location once was the base

We went to Bull Run for the first time last year and it was a disappointment to us; we'd always heard what a great thing it was & I guess we just expected too much.  We won't be doing that again.  We used to go into DC when the kids were younger, but haven't been in years ... we've talked about doing that again this year.  Hopefully we will.

We are going to the Newport News lights tonight, and Christmas Town at Busch Gardens on the 22nd. I love this time of year

 Have you seen the ones at Bristol Speedway , not sure if that is still in Va or Tenn ,since they are twin cities  beautiful and worth the drive we are 2 hours away
