I am more concerned about my son growing up, hopefully going to college than finishing and finding a job that will pay him enough to live and pay back the loans.

Hopefully by time he is past age 26, health care will be available for everyone.

I haven't really thought about it. I'm more concerned about getting them through school and college without becoming parents before they are ready.

I worry about them growing up in a socialist society.  But in many respects, that's already happening. :(

No, we teach our children by example.

Currently we have health care coverage, but we haven't always. Thus, we explain to our children about staying healthy and being safe- and that if they have a medical issue, we will take care of them. It might cost a lot to fix them, but that is what great health care costs- money. We've had bills that have taken a LONG time to pay off, but since we used the services, we expect to pay them. We've never been denied care- and we've made arrangements to make monthly payments... even if it was just the $17 minimum we had arranged.

I'm more worried about the negativity of the world bringing my children down.

I just want them to grow up to be happy and healthy.

Right now, I am not worried about health insurance, and I hope that doesn't become a problem for us.

That's not really a big concern of mine right now, no.

Yes, I'm very concerned. Currently, living in NYS we have access to a program that allows us to purchase health insurance for our kids at a very low cost. We don't have it for ourselves, as it's too expensive, and we own our own business. This particular program is only available for kids up to age 14 though.

So yes. I'm very nervous about it. And so, if a national healthcare system is not in place within 10 years, myself or my husband will be forced to leave our business and tie ourselves to an employer, rather than continue to be innovative, create jobs, and be satisfied with our job.
