We live in the Hampton Roads area. I like it here -- we live in Suffolk, which has a small-town feel, but are a short trip away from larger areas as well as the beach.

We live in Roanoke. I like it but some daysI wish we could move away from the city and live somewhere that is a little quieter.

Northern VA. It's good in that there's a lot here but not so good in that it's more expensive and there's so much traffic. -

Have you ever considered moving a little further south? A lot of the people who live in my community commute. My husband use to work near Reston, now he drives to Manassas every day.

just moved to Reston last week from Herndon from Sterling lol I've been in VA too long :p
I loved Sterling!!.Liked Herndon (mostly cuz it was next to Sterling lol) but now I don't know where the heck I an in Reston!! so lost!! -
We live in roanoke. I like it here. It's a good place to raise a family. Although I do believe we will move to cloverdale or troutville area when we can finally purchase our first house together. But I will always miss home which is approximately 8 hours away in GA.
