It's up to each of us to speak up, make a choice, and get our voices heard in this election. Here's what the First Lady Michelle Obama has to say about the importance of registering to vote and voting:
Are you registered to vote?

I can't listen to her now but will when I get home. But it is important to vote because
1. you are honoring the people before you who fought for that right.
2. Your voice is heard on the local and national level.
3. You get to wear the I voted sticker on your head
4. You are active and understand the process
5. Because if you don't and the family finds out, you have a lot of explaining to do. We don't care who you vote for but youhave to vote.

I don't know about one's voice being heard. It's important to vote to knock out atleast one opposing vote. lol. That's my thought.
