October 13th is also Richie McFarland's Touch a Truck event in Portsmouth and Raymond Lamprey Elementary school is also doing a touch a truck event on the same day.
We have been to several hosted by Richie. They always have a huge amount of really neat stuff and the money goes to help pay for scholarships for kids to attend their programs. They are wonderful and did an amazing job with our son!
This year is the first year for the raymond school to do it but I think theirs may be free
Touch-A-Truck - Raymond
Raymond Recreation is gearing up for the 7th Annual Touch-A-Truck scheduled for Saturday, October 13th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Lamprey River Elementary School. -
Oh! There is also a town faire/fesitval in Bedford on Saturday and Angelina Ballerina (the mouse from the PBS kids show) is supposed to do a meet and greet and noon and at 1

Bedford Olde Town Day, Riley Field, Bedford, Nh Saturday October 13, 2012.
The ad is for meeting Angelina so it doesnt list what else will be there. But it does say in case of Rain Angelina will be at the Bedford Youth Performing Company at 155 Route 101 in Bedford
Its on the inside cover of the October free parenting magazine you can get at the enterance of most grocery stores and stuff :)

Okay thanks! We went to ninipalooza a cpl wks ago and dd had a blast w face painting and seeing animals so im sure she would love this too
