For New Year's Day I'm planning on making a ham in the crockpot but I've never made one like this before. Does anyone have any tips or tricks?

I've never cooked a ham in the crock pot so here's a bump for you. I'd be interested to know if it works well for hams.

Make sure it has plenty of moisture.
If it doesn't have a lot of fat maybe wrap it in bacon or fat back. Says my sons dad. Lol. He does the cooking normally. -
