North Carolina Moms
We had our teacher meet and greet last night. All the teachers seemed very nice and DS seems to be loving school. He loves all his teachers and said he will tolerate the other one, LOL.
So how are things going so far for your kids?

Awesome. I'm their teacher and they love me lol. We are right on 'schedule' with my lesson plans. We're all having a blast and they're learning a lot. And they even say its fun! Winning!

My oldest is doing great. My youngest son has started not wanting to be left in the classroom in the morning since my daughter was born. He doesn't want to be away from her...it's sweet and sad at the same time.

As a parent, my baby is a senior. He is having so much fun so far.
As a teacher, it is very frustrating. My principal is so distracted by his personal life, his screw ups at school causing his boss to pay too much attention to him that he can't concentrate long enough to help get things running smoothly. The kids are always fine. They have no idea what goes on behind the scenes....as it should be.

Mine have about 3 more weeks and then they are on fall break.. yeah me

So far great!
My dd is in 1st grade. She is the best reader in the class and made Scientist of the Week!
Her teacher emailed me to tell me she "is kind and thoughtful and helpful to others". :) -
It's going well. They seem to have a lot of tests this week though so it's chaotic at night with all the studying.
