Valle Crucis!! I love the mountains and I'm absolutely in love with the house we rent while we're vacationing there. The little towns the dot the area are full of roadside vendors and craft shops. We spent a week there this past June...I am all ready to go back.

I havent really found a favorite spot yet.. we usually just go to the beach or the mountains..

I have never exactly vacationed in NC...lol. If we want mountains, we head to TN. If we want beach, it's usally Myrtle.
We really should take a NC vacation though.

There's a place in the mountains that does horseback riding into TN. I can't remember the name of it but it's do much fun. I really want to go to the outer banks but I haven't yet. -
Emerald Isle. My parents have a place there so not only is it free its a beach and I love the beach.

Ft. Fisher aquarium. Admittedly, I am very partial to it, as every time I go there, I relive my wedding night -
Love mountains, at least when it isn't freezing. lol

My favorite Vacation spot is Cherokke/Maggie Valley NC I am Cherokke and the Mountains! We go every summer! It's so nice and relaxing! I love going to Ghost town i have been going there since i was a kid and its so nice to take my son! Shopping and cabins on the mountains. Its so nice you should go if you have never been!
