Do you know what's compelling her to compare herself? That seems so young!
I have a 6 y/o who already has self esteem issues. I encourage as much as possible to see her good points, and not compare herself to others.

My daughter is too young yet to discuss self esteem but I have thought about it a lot.
We'll talk as she gets older.
