I am very into name meanings, I was randomly wondering if names affect a girls/woman's confidence as an adult.

I think it could impact their life.

I think names do matter.... I felt like I just blended in with the crowd...and I hated my name....its Michelle and everywhere I went there were a few other Michelles....very annoying.

I picked names that had meaning to me and my family. I didn't pay attention to what it meant. And I also kept the initials the same as it ran in dh famly -
I don't think their name determines it alone. I think it also has to do with how they are raised and how they feel about themselves.

it depends on the girl and their confidence level. If they are confident, a name won't affect them.

I do think it does matter. My children were named after grandparents, and also for the meaning. My daughter is Kathryn-meaning Pure and my Son is Garrett meaning Spear Ruler.
