Growing up, did you have a role model or somone you looked up to?  What made them be a role model for you?

I don't remember having a positive role model growing up. I just knew what I didn't want to be like and decided what I did want on my own.

My grandma.  She was a hard worker, religious, and never said an unkind thing about others.

My Oma (grandmother) She has lived alone for as long as I have known her. She is a pistol and stubborn as an ox. She walks to the tune of her own drum and ruled by no man or sanction. She worked every day of her life until she couldnt work anymore...and now with dilligence she has celebrated her 70th birthday. She is in pain every single day and still she moves on....I think she is still my role model :)

I come from a long line of very strong women. :)
