Any New Zealanders around?

I need a recipe for any popular savory NZ dish, what do you love to cook at home, that is traditional and tasty??

I googled and just come up with lamb, fish and chips and bangers and mash!

sweet recipes are also welcome (except pavlova, i'm already making that!)

I live in Sydney, Australia, and know lots of New Zealand natives. Bangers and mash, fish and chips, meat pies, roast lamb, sausage rolls, etc., are common fare, but are all foods brought by settlers from Britain.

Traditional New Zealand food is Maori food. Try looking up the "Maori boil up." very tasty. :)
