Thanksgiving & The kitchen work

How early does everyone start preparing Thanksgiving dinner? Family coming over? Or will you guys be traveling? We are staying home for the holidays this year.

We'll prepare thanksgiving day.  We're going to my moms, so I'll just be making dessert

I'll start cooking today or tomorrow. I have two dishes to make for Thursday. Then I have to cook an at home dinner with all the trimmings on Friday...

Ds & I will start cooking on Wednesday.

 Two days ahead make cranberry sauce and cut up veggies. Day ahead make pies, boil eggs for deviled eggs, prepare bread for stuffing. Bake casseroles.

 The gravy, stuffing and cranberry chutney are already made.  I'll make the sweet potatoes and green bean casserole on Wednesday night.  Desserts I'm making on Tuesday night.

 We go to my grandparents which lives less than 2 blocks from me =)

 My two sons will be doing a lot of the work,  and dil's will make desserts. It's nice to all cook together. We don't get the chance to do this except just this once a year. I love it.
