How far in advance do you plan your menu?

Since I`m making half the meal and my MIL is making half the meal,we get together and start planning the week & Thru till thanksgiving.lol.
Like tonight,we are going over for dinner to talk about meal and dessert plans.

It never changes, so not too much menu planning involved. I sometimes add a new dish, but the basics are always the same.

It's pretty traditional what we have, but I do write everything down before grocery shopping so I don't forget anything.

I plan mine around the time i get paid

For actualy meals it depends. We have to first find out what family is doing and if we are going there to eat or not
