Do you cook whole turkeys...

other than for holidays?

I think I'm going to cook a turkey so I can freeze parts of it for soup and other dishes.

    Sometimes I do. The family loves turkey dinners. I'd like to try smoking one, too.

    Yes I cook turkey for Thanksgiving and depending on my mood, I will make couple turkeys over the summer by deep frying it. Oh that is every so good!!! Very tender and juicy.

    I only make a whole turkey for thanksgiving, the rest of the year if we feel like turkey I will buy the breast only on the bone.
