See, the problem is President Obama keeps enacting ideas that don't work - that's all. And he doesn't play well with others - he's a bully.
If Obama came up with some small government, economically sound, Constitutionally sound ideas - and he built relationships and negotiated in good faith - and was just a nice person in his working relationships - conservatives and liberals alike would support his leadership in a heartbeat.
As McConnell said, he doesn't want Obama to fail. No one does.
He just makes himself incredibly difficult to work with, by the imperial way he has governed.
