Make A Difference
take care of a parent?My Mom is in the nursing home.She has alzheimers.I wish she could be home but she needs 24/7 care.

not at the moment..not to sound harsh but i wouldnt take care of my parents even if someone was paying me a million dollars...my inlaws i would take care of..im sorry to hear about your mom..im sure she appreciates everything you do for her..

My dad doesn't want us to take care of him & I wouldn't take care of my mother, we don't get along well

Thank-you.Its really hard to see her like this.My dad and great aunt had it.She is not the Mom I grew up with.She is a child.I miss talking to her and going to her house and bbq'ing and shopping.I still sometimes go to the phone to call her.Now I call the nursing to talk to her and of course visit her.
