So I went make bread, got my yeast mixed and went to grab milk...I have none! I don't have a car to go get any and all my neighbors are at work. Jake (my dh) doesn't get off work until 4. Should I just scrap the yeast mix or can I keep it in the fridge or something? I really don't wanna toss it but I don't know what to do...

I forgot to finish that. i used to make bread all the time. I know that milk makes a softer crust, but water still works.

Sorry I didn't get back to you earlier yesterday I think I left myself logged into cm even though I was away from the computer.

That's ok! The hubs brought me some milk. I did end up throwing out the first yeast mix though, just to be on the safe side.
