The fight over socks!
by Anonymous
August 22 at 12:24 AM
My 12 year old ds has decided that he likes to wear 1 black sock & 1 white sock to school.Besides the obvious that it looks strange ,it's also against dress code. Every morning it's becoming an issue. I'm thinking of just letting him wear his mismatched socks and letting him deal with the consequences. How would you handle it?

Old enough to handle the consequences of it. Let him do it.

The offending sock color would disappear. Then he has no choice but to wear the right color socks

Put the colors you can't wear away so he will not be able to wear them to school anymore

Why does the school care so much about socks? That's pretty pathetic. That being said, it is school policy, and if it was a fight I had to have everyday I would let him deal with the consequences.

Consequences. But first I would try to put Lucy Fur on the job to eat all the white socks. 😂

They wear uniforms and only white socks are allowed.

He's old enough to deal with the consequence and not worth fighting over.

I hate that stupid fad. It looks ridiculous.

My dd wouldn't be allowed even if she thought it was cool (thankfully she doesn't).

    But I'm old school.
