    Or that they are no longer going to be on cafemom.

    I like to be told on FB so that I know that person didn't just delete me.  Thats the only reason I can see.

    I just disappear when I deactivate anything.

    Oh. I didn't see that post. Maybe she was just venting, or maybe she has friends on here(and FB) and she was giving them a heads up? IDK.

    Honestly, that's not entirely true.  MOST people don't care, but I deactivated mine five months ago and for a long time I got texts from people asking where the hell I went and why I never said anything.  (These were folks I did not communicate with regularly outside of FB)
