How big is your house?

Last summer we moved from a smallish 1,500 sq ft house to a 3,000 sq ft house. On one hand its harder to keep it clean because there is so much floor space but on the other hand its easier to keep it clean because its not as cluttered and everything has its place.

So how big is your house and do you find it easy or hard to keep it clean? Do you have a cleaning schedule?

4750. I'm fine with it but I'd be just as happy with smaller. I keep it a basic level of clean in about 5-15 mins per day myself, and have it cleaned once or twice a week professionally. I figure I'd rather have time and low stress than that extra money and no time because I'd always be cleaning the damn house.

I wouldn't have chosen the size, but I bought the place from my parents. They built it for themselves and then decided when it was like 80% complete that they wanted to live in the city. The land it sits on has been in our family for over 200 years, I wanted to raise my DD up here anyway, so it worked out well and I got to finish off the house in the style I wanted.

If had I started from scratch and built my own, I think I would have gone with something in the realm of 2500-3500 sqft. I do love to entertain though and the house is fab for that.

Not too sure... I think 1,700 sq ft. 3 bedrooms, 2 bath...

It's bigger than our last home but not difficult to keep clean.

Like 1200 I think. Just a little trailer but we're moving soon to work in Austin tx and the gut we are working with is letting us use the house above the shop till wet buy some land and build our house :)

I don't know the exact footage but it's 3 bedroom, 2 bth rms, 2 living rooms, n 2 car garage.. I find myself cleaning everyday lol it's a big house but plenty of space..But idk I think I'd rather have a small hse so it can stay clean all the time.

2000 sq feet, we need more space. Can't wait to move.

1400 sq ft.

It's not too hard but cleaning with kids in the house is like brushing your teeth with Icing!

1100 sq feet.. I have a toddler, so it is as hard to clean as our 2300 sq ft house was when she was a baby.

I don't remember it's something like 1500 or 1800 sq ft... It's not ok big anyways. I don't need or want a house much bigger.
