Mom Confessions
Since the Sitcom, Big Bang Theory, gained popularity. The shear mention that my husband is a scientist typically leads to the "Penny" comparison. Seriously, just because my husband is a physicist doesn't mean I am his proverbial "Penny."
The comparison is quite annoying and kinda insulting.
Any other scientist's wives out there experience "Penny" moments?

Nice, my husband has worked there... He is a nuclear physicist or solid state matter. However, you prefer...
Quoting Caitlin1983:
Not a scientist's wife, but a scientist's daughter. I am from Los Alamos, NM...the only reason for the town is the Los Alamos National Lab (first atomic bomb). So lots of Amy Farrah Fowler's, not many Pennys.
What kind of a scientist is your husband?
