I have a question..If you work, taxes are taken out automatically. The taxes you pay go to government programs and what not. But, don't a lot of people get most of their taxes back? Plus if you claim dependents you get more out than you pay in. How are they paying for welfare families??

I paid $63,000 in taxes for last year. I pay for welfare families.

Mostly people on welfare are the ones who get all of theirs back (plus more)

Even if the PA programs didn't exist I am sure the government would still take the same amount of money and just use it to fatten their wallets and upgrade their private jets. Shouldn't that be the realy issue? The outrageous salaries of the senators? Especially since it used to be a public duty that was performed for free.

Well Jesus, honey, I think you might be able to afford it!

by AnonymousFebruary 9 at 2:52 PMWe don't get our taxes back - we usually owe. This year our total taxes were $23,950 of which we had about $20,000 withheld. We also paid almost $6,000 in property taxes.
