Sounds like she did. Several times she bit the baby. Time out is appropriate for a child that age granted she isn't special needs.

Um, how about a little personal responsibility? What in the hell were you doing that a 3 year old had access to your 8 month old and bit the baby so hard that blood is running down the baby's arm? You are exaggerating. If you are watching the kid, actually watch the kid and maybe these things won't happen.

its not abuse, the punishment fits the offense. and if you came at me in such a manner id laugh as you go to jail for assault while your child is given to someone that can do a better job at raising them. it is NOT ok to teach a kid its ok to assault others because you are frustrated. and cps recomends timeouts in various lengths fo rvarious offenses. Heck a cps worker gave me pointers on how to spank my kids in a manner that isnt abusive!!

Oh I agree with you... now if it was an 8mo biting a 3yo. Ok that's semi normal for a baby to learn to bite. But that's when you nip it in the butt! It's not expressing ones self... its learning boundaries and should happen way before 3!!!! -
so she should of peed herself? if i leave my 3 and 4 year olds with my almost 8 month old they won thurt her or any othe rbaby they are around while i go pee. mabey as th emother of the 3 year old the mil should teach her better manners!!
