My dd started her period this week :/ she's 11 and that seems so early to me. My husband (her father) and I (step mom) are doing as we previouy discussed and starting her on birth control immediately. Under my roof she will take it or no longer live under my roof. shes a very intelligent young lady and I just won't see her life ruined by a pregnancy! Which bc pills did you like or not like? How about the depo shot? I hear mixed things on the implant but its definitely sounding like the easiest option as far as making sure she takes it.

My 14 y/o is has the implant with good results. Although she's not ready for sex we both agree that "things happen" and I am not going to have her ruin her life over a teenage pregnancy.

She is 11 all be is going to do is screw with her hormones. Not to mention if she is able to be in a position to have sex at 11 y'all aren't payin close enough attention

Please don't. You are going to really screw up her system. Talk to her about sex and what could happen if she has sex and then trust her.

First of all, the depo shot is EVIL
Second. Are you serious?? I mean, i totally understand not wanting teenage pregnancy, but birth control messes with your hormones. You could kill her fertility by putting her on BC so young.
Please, reconsider. Just talk to her. -
