Down the drain because my husband owes 17,000 on student loans..he got these stupid loans 5 years before we even met :(

    Then how is the money going down the drain? It's worth it right? Is he taking your money? =(

    I assume they kept your taxes to pay back the loan??? Didn't you already know that when you filed?

     you can file for injured spouse and get "your" portion of the refund

    It could be worse...I've heard of people being $30,000 in debt with student loans.
