How did he defend you? Why did you need defending in the first place? IMO sounds like your BF is a Loser, and your not much better, using your money to bail a guy out of jail instead of using it for your kids..

It's not your fault he's in jail. If his bond is so low, don't worry about it. Hell be out soon. Why pay for bond when he might end up just going back in? -
That's not defending you. Defending you would be if someone was about to physically harm you and he stepped in.

No, they do if the person being hulled off assaulted someone when the victim didn't physically harm anyone else first.

So your BF did something illegal to a guy who was talking disrespectfully to you? Sounds like he is right where he SHOULD be, in jail.
