IRS is not meant to open tell Jan 30th right?

well i checked my bank account today. and my tax refund was there.

Mine said it was accepted early but refunds won't be processed until the 30th. And that's my federal, nothing from state yet.

 I thought online you could file Jan 26th.

Refunds and tax returns are processed year round.  The January 30th date is the cutoff for employers to get you a copy of your W-2.

I do quarterly taxes and if I overpay in one quarter it is processed as soon as I file the next quarter.

I don't know. I just submitted ours this morning and it says they are not processing them till the 30th. I would double check that its the exact amount you expected to receive.

Not true. If an deposit is made into your account by mistake, doesnt matter if it was your account, its not your money, and it can be taken out, and if that draws your account neg you will be held accountable.

Used to work at a bank and saw that happen many times.
