DH was working at a temp place for a little over a year doing jobs here and there but no one would hire him because he is half deaf. Well at the end october they sent him to a printing comp where he worked his tail off and in the middle of december the big man hands dh an app and says i want to hire you full time so fill out the app and once our contract with the temp place is up the job is yours. The contract wasn't up untill feb first BUT they decided to buy out the contract early and he is now FULL TIME. We can now get off fs and gov health...I am so proud of DH. It feels so good to no longer be poor

What a great post to wake up to. So rarely do we read stories of PA to self sufficiency via hard work. I know they really do happen every day, but I don't seem to read them on here :-) Good for you guys!
