Oki I've really decided to go back to school.. so I need some info and I will try to explain as best I can.
I have a current student loan that has been in deferment since a year after I finished that total waste of 7grand certificate program (Everest Yuck!). Well it has lapsed a couple times due to my forgetfulness to update my deferment.
Does my old loan need to be in "good" standing for a certain amount of time before I can get another one to go to an actual college to get my education on?
Can't pay my old one unless I had money to pay it and I can't get money without a job and can't get in the job I want making enough money to pay it without getting a REAL education.

i don't think you will get a loan if you have one outstanding. You can try and see if they will but i think they want their other money before releasing anymore.
