It's when the pregnancy is lost shortly after implantation and the bleeding happens around when your period would come anyways.

    What is a chemical pregnancy?

    Quoting Anonymous:

10-25% of all pregnancies clinically recognized result in miscarriage and 50-75% of miscarriages are chemical pregnancies, so most women don't know when it happens.

I have not had a miscarriage that I know of. But it is very common.
