Lets pretend you like the pattern a lot.  would you buy plates and bowls from the dollar store (Dollar Tree)?

I want to buy them (and I probably will tonight) but MIL says they are not safe and some how DH is believing her

I have. I've also used pots from there too.. I didn't have much money when i left my husband. They worked fine for me.
