Hi, if a child under age my DD , was interviewed by a detective without a parent or anyone present do you ladies think that was legal ?

Yes I do they don't interview just for the hell of it. Your DD could have said she didn't want to talk to them without you present. If she did they would not have interviewed her until you arrived.

In that case yes, it is without your consent.

Depends on what its for. If its for something like suspected child abuse, I can't imagine that it would be. But if it were something like say... she stole something... then I do believe it would be. Contact an attorney.
