NO! Soo I hate being the shitty friend venting on CM about my best friend, but lately she is MAKING ME INSANE.
Her:
30
single
no job
she gets 10,000 a month for beloning to a tribe
no kids
Me:
living in poverty
single
2 kids, 1being special needs
2 jobs
school
hardly any assistance
So Im talking to her on facebook and shes talking about how I need to go clubbing with her tongiht (ha, right!) and Im like man I just have no money, we have no food right now and its just tough but maybe sometime next month we can get together (she lives two hours away, but we talk EVERYDAY) So Im talking to her and Im like I really need some REAL food, this lettuce and italian dressing gets old after a few days. and shes like OMG I know exactly what you mean girl...
whatever bitch. you are always talking about going to this restraunt or having some expensive steaks,
YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT I MEAN AND QUIT SAYING THAT THINKING IT MAKES ME FEEL BETTER, because IT DOES NOT!
Sorry, Imjust so irritated with her lately. She seems to think I have 10k a month to go blow as well. Shell say things like "ughh I need a massage sooo bad, Im sooo stressed out"
Her schedule through out the week is getting nails done, hair done, massages, facials, shopping, meeting up with friends for lunch, dinner, drinks, whatever.. going to hawaii.. the list goes on. ITS RIDIC!
Really what would their possibly be to stress out about?

I had a friend that got money from her tribe as well. She would complain about things, but she was pretty lonley because she put the money above anything else, and lost out on true friendships. I gave her some space until she realized that money isn't everything...

It is hard to be friends with someone who has a completely different financial situation than you do. I can't imagine that the two of you have much in common at this point.

Um wtf else is she supposed to say? You would've been just as pissed had she replied with "damn, that's sucks for you!"
Why the hell would you vent to someone who is obviously financially stable and just expect her to know what to say? Call someone else to bitch about your poverty too, someone who can possibly relate.
I don't understand why women do shit like that.
And she asked you to go out with her maybe just to get you out the house. You are working 2 jobs, how is she supposed to know what you can and cannot spare? You're a single mom of 3 kids. Maybe she just wanted to get you out to relax and have some fun. You obviously are too damn uptight -

There are things someone can say other than I know what you mean, or I understand or damn that sucks for you.
How about "Im sorry you have to go through this" There are TONS of things she could say, she does know my financial stuff. We are just at the crossroads right now... if you knew the back story on some of it, maybe youd be a bit more understanding. but Im not going to post everything.
When you say "I understand" and you DONT, it is lying...
