I need some help -- I am working on a story about all those little not-so-wonderful horrors/secrets about pregnancy, post-partum, nursing and newborns that no one ever talks about ie cankles, vericose veins, the big ol pads from the hospital, saggy breasts, clothes that will never fit again, colic, loss of romance, etc.
What do you wish you'd known about BEFORE you became pregnant/had a baby?

Farts can be horrible while pregnant -
That Bf doesn't always mean the weight will just melt off.
That during labor I would have no concern with modesty what so ever.

This. Ugh. I got one having ds 2. He's almost three now and I still have that bitch. It will NOT go away. I'm gonna have to have it cut to be removed. But I'm not doin it til I have my next kid whenever that happens lol.
