What people see is caused by chemical reactions and electric impulses in the brain as it dies...nothing more.
The ones that want to believe in heaven are the ones that ate actually afraid to die. The people that don't live in la la land accept what really happens -

i don't believe in heaven. in order to believe in heaven id have to believe in hell and i don't believein that either. we simply cross over into the next type of existence. while i know there is a next step many who beleive there isnt would simply point to studies that neurologists have done that shows what they believe to be a shutting down of the brain that causes this..almost like a last ditch of info or short circuit kinda. i can see very easily how they would see it that way. it doesn't really matter though to me since we all go to the same place anyways. its kinda pointless to argue abt it much less call people names and belittle them over it.
