Hey all you stepmoms im not a stepmom but i want to know how many of you love you stepkids as much as you love your bio-kids?

- 37% - cant help but love my own more

I love my stepson but it's a different kind of love than my bio kids. SS is very close to his mom, I'm not his mom. I absolutely love him, no question and nobody better mess with him, but like I said it's just different. Plus he has never lived with us, he lives 3 hrs. away so we don't get to see him as much as we would like to. He's a great kid though and very much enjoy the time we have when we do get to see him.
Now if I would have raised him from the time he was little, like 2 or something then I'm sure I would love him like my own.

I don't have any bio kids yet, but when I do, it won't change a thing between my Ss's and I. They will always hold a special place in my heart. -
I don't have bio kids, but I can't see myself loving any kid that I raise differently. I have raised my (step) kids for the last almost 8 years. their bio has been mia for almost 9 years. I have never met the woman.
