My son was sick last week and then today he comes in without a shirt on. He has big welts all over his chest and back. What do you all think it could be?

An allergic reaction. Is it spreading? Whenever come into contact with fiberglass filling you know the pink stuff this happens to me.

As far as I know he isn't. He doesn't seem to be in pain and when I touch them he doesn't mind. I'm not sure exactly what they are or what they're from

Hives. when my son has an allergic reaction the hives form so close together that they look like welts, but take him to the doctor and make sure. Now that I know what they are, i can just give him a dose of kids benadryl and they go away.

You should google it and match up the pics to your sons welts that might help. I would give him benadryle see if they go away.

Is he itchy or did you maybe use some cream or lotion laundry soap, dryer sheets, fabric softener a lot of these things make dd who is fivebreak out in welts sr said benedryl (sp) but i would at least try callibg on call nurse ifd yur doc has if not er maybe. Because thw med dose is dependent.on weight. Hugs hope he is ok
