I want to get my son's name tatted on my wrist... Just wondering how much it hurts?

Oh that's a neat idea. I have to wear a medical alert bracelet all the time and usually forget it. I also have a wallet size alert card I always carry. Maybe I should get the alert tattoo on me too. Thanks for the idea for my next one.

I have the medical alert symbol on the inside of my wrist. It didn't hurt at all. It really depends on your pain tolerance, I guess. I was told it was going to hurt.
My medical alert tattoo is the size of a silver dollar with the wording above that says allergies...if you have something specific you can add that ie diabetes etc.
I was forever losing my bracelets so this was a way of never being without it. I carry a card in my wallet stating all my drug allergies.
