by Anonymous - Original PosterJanuary 3 at 6:30 AMJust wondering, a friend asked me. So 62 is the youngest, how do you get penalized?
Quoting deenakate:
62 if you want to collect early and be penalized, mine is available to collect when I am 72. Each generation has a different age of eligibility.
Why? -
by AnonymousJanuary 3 at 6:36 AMIf they have a legitimate mental or physical disability, or a child with those conditions then they are able to collect at any age. However the process is very long and often difficult. -

They pay you less. And yes 62 is the youngest. You have to pay in for a considerable amount of time and be of retirement age.
Is she wanting or meaning disability?
