I have a six month old DS. He doesn't really have a schedule, but here's a typical day.
He wakes up around 6-7am. I give him a 4-5oz bottle of formula.
Around 8:30-9am I give him half a container of Gerber (1st foods) baby food.
Right after that I give him 3oz of formula to wash down the baby food.
Around 11am I put him down for a nap with a 4oz bottle.
He'll wake up around 12pm-1pm.
Around 1:30-2pm I give him a 4oz bottle.
He takes another nap at 4pm with a 4oz bottle.
He wakes up at 5-6pm.
I give him a 4oz bottle around 7pm.
No more naps for the night.
I give him a 4oz bottle around 9pm.
He goes down for the night with a 3oz bottle at around 10:30pm-11pm.
Does that sound like a decent feeding schedule for a 6 month old?
As long as he isn't getting more than 32 ounces in a day, then it sounds fine.
I work with infants & that is pretty much what I do with a baby that age!
